voestalpine Böhler Welding Avesta ER308/308L TIG rod is a high-alloy stainless filler metal designed for welding austenitic stainless steels such as 19Cr-10Ni (304-type) and similar alloys. It can also be used for welding titanium and niobium-stabilized stainless steels (e.g., 321 and 347) for service temperatures up to 400°C. The deposited weld metal is an austenitic structure with 5–10% ferrite and provides corrosion resistance corresponding to ASTM 304.
