A cotton-and-foam-lined back adds heat protection without sacrificing the dexterity of the unlined palm. Welted fingers protect the seams from sparks and abrasion, while a reinforced straight thumb, stiff split-cowhide cuff and Kevlar stitching provide lasting durability.
