The BURNDY thermOweld M-101 Exothermic Welding Mold Kit provides the essential components needed to create a permanent electrical connection between a #6 solid copper conductor and a horizontal steel surface or pipe. The M-101 graphite mold accommodates steel pipe measuring 3/4 inch through 3-1/2 inches in diameter.
The mold features an EZ Lite lid designed to direct exhaust away from the operator, reduce emissions, minimize splatter, and help extend mold life. This warehouse-configured kit includes the M-101 mold pot, cleaning spoon, and flint striker.
The M-101 mold requires a thermOweld #15CP weld metal cartridge for each connection. Weld metal cartridges are not included unless otherwise specified.
