The Hobart 494315670 MaxalTIG® ER4943 is an aluminum TIG filler rod designed for welding aluminum alloys where improved mechanical properties are desired compared to traditional 4043-type fillers. ER4943 is formulated to deliver moderate/high strength, low melting temperature/high fluidity, minimal welding smut and discoloration, and excellent corrosion resistance, while using similar welding procedures as 4043/4643. 
This product is specified as 5/32″ diameter and 36″ length for GTAW (TIG) filler rod applications.
