Crosby 1029018 is a Grade 100 SHUR-LOC S-1317 clevis hook designed for use with 3/8” chain (also suitable for Grade 80 chain). It features a positive locking latch that is self-locking when the hook is loaded and a recessed trigger design to help protect the trigger from damage. The hook is forged alloy steel, quenched and tempered, and is individually proof tested to 2-1/2 times the working load limit with certification. It is rated at 8,800 lb working load limit and is intended for overhead lifting applications when properly installed and locked.
