SPY 785 Portable Pulse Holiday Detector, 1–15 kV, 4–150 mil Coating Range, Rechargeable Battery

SPY 785 is a portable high-voltage pulse holiday detector designed to locate pinholes, voids, holidays, and other discontinuities in protective coatings on conductive substrates such as pipe. It provides infinitely adjustable pulse output from 1,000 to 15,000 volts and is designed for coatings ranging from 4 to 150 mils. Automatic voltage regulation helps maintain the selected output under changing load conditions, while the integral LCD voltmeter, audible alarm, and visual indicator support accurate field inspection. The detector uses a quick-release 12V rechargeable battery and is built for pipeline, coating inspection, and corrosion-control applications.
