The SPY 785 Portable Pulse Holiday Detector Kit is designed for high-voltage holiday detection on protective pipe coatings, including tape coatings, extruded coatings, coal tar coatings, yellow jacket sleeves, and other pipeline coating applications. It provides an infinitely adjustable 1,000 to 15,000 V pulse output range for 4 to 150 mil coating thicknesses, with automatic voltage regulation, an integral LCD voltmeter, and audible/visual holiday indication for field inspection work.
The kit includes the 785 detector unit, two rechargeable 12V batteries, charger, DC paddle, 50 ft ground cable, electrode wand with spring connector, shoulder strap, brush adapter kit, shipping/carrying case, operating instructions, and calibration certificate traceable to NIST. Electrodes are sold separately unless otherwise specified.
