The DeFelsko KITF1 PosiTector Inspection Kit combines three essential coating-inspection functions in one portable system. The interchangeable Standard gage body works with the included PosiTector 6000-F coating thickness probe, DPM environmental probe, and SPG surface profile probe.
The integral 6000-F probe measures coating thickness on ferrous metals such as steel and cast iron. The DPM probe evaluates environmental conditions, including relative humidity, air temperature, surface temperature, dew-point temperature, and the difference between surface and dew-point temperatures. The SPG probe measures peak-to-valley surface profile before coating application.
The instruments and accessories are organized in a protective hard-shell carrying case for convenient transportation between inspection locations.
